If you are interested in any of the teams below, please consider applying. Contributing to Astronet is a way to improve your skills while being a part of a fun project. Each team has team lead positions available. The primary objective of these teams is to facilitate personal growth for career and leadership skills. For those with solid experience, mentorship opportunities are available as we are always looking to teach community members.
Development Team
- Works on developing/programming for a particular game, language, or development stack. Teams are separated based on this.

- gLua Team (Garry's Mod)
- C# Team (Unturned, Rust, S&box)
- SourcePawn (CSS, TF2, other Source games)
- Web Team
- Other (open to suggestions for new teams)
Mapping Team
- Creates maps and related map content (e.g., modeling). Teams are separated based on map type.

- Source Engine (Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2, CS:S, Half-Life 2, etc.)
- Source Engine 2 (S&box, CS2)
- Unturned
- Other (open to suggestions for new teams)
Graphic Design Team
- Creates graphics assets for Astronet content, servers, websites, events, forum badges/awards, and more.
- Experience with Photoshop or a program capable of saving PSDs is preferred.
Events Team
- Works with the events team to create engaging community activities. Varies by game.
- Events are generally planned ahead of time and go through an approval process with the team leader. Once approved, the events team coordinates with the graphics team to create any needed graphics assets.
Public Relations Team
- Handles social media, outreach, and other public-facing relations.
- Recruitment of new community members through engagement and outreach.
- Streaming on platforms such as Twitch.
- Writing articles & news.
