My point would be rather that in the new survival update we wish to do something more like
Scout armour = first scrap you get
rebel armour = from killing cp's
scrap armour = worse replacement for OTA vests, very cool model tho
OTA vest = from killing OTA's
Elite OTA vest = from raiding nexus...
First of all, we are not going to stay like Impulse. Anything related to how it functioned is not a concern for the future of our server. That said, as long as updates are still catching up, it's important to consider balancing.

Oh no I agree with you tho I think a different map would suit our plans better regarding the visual update which is slowly being finished, so considering a smaller and more fitting map would be benefitial for both framework and community.
I agree that a smaller, more densely packed map would work well during the first playtest I've done something similar myself. However, I don't believe editing the current map's config is worth the effort. It's true that I've been thinking more about balanced gameplay between CPs and rebels...
