Roleplay-Friendly Construction

The physics gun as it is, is pretty shaky at best in terms of being roleplay friendly. So, I propose a new idea: Hammer

The Hammer would have the description "A CMB-Approved Hammer. Not comfortable enough of a grip to cave in a skull, but you can probably place down something with this."
With the hammer, it turns construction into a team exercise, going from being able to quickly slam down walls into carefully hammering them together to form a neat little fortress or decorating your living space. Using Alt+C, you can make the nails invisible so that they aren't too ugly to look at to make your roleplay construction more immersive. In order to remove nails, you either have to strike the nails with a melee weapon, with your own hammer, or use an explosive. This can create dynamic combat AND roleplay situations, promoting people to hold props up for eachother in order to nail things to walls and whatnot.

Alongside this, you can now use multiple players in order to grab objects and rotate them by holding the E key, allowing heavier and larger props to be hauled around without breaking immersion. Otherwise, you can grab the bigger objects now, but you can only really drag them across the floor instead of doing any quick rotations without help.

While I understand and do somewhat like the idea, I feel like this would just encourage players to build in sandbox and dupe the build onto the server instead of building it directly on the server.

Personally, I feel that Garry's mod overall and not just HL2RP wouldn't be the same without building, so while I am a big fan of the idea of turning building into something roleplay-friendly, I unfortuantely don't believe this is the way to go.

Due to the amount of props too heavy to be picked up, and the complexity of this idea, I don't believe this would work in this context. Building on low pop wouldn't work, and building on high pop would require several players put their things on hold to help this one guy build.

Perhaps a solution to "fixing" the physgun could be to simply put a much stricter limit on how far it can reach out, as of right now it can still reach quite far, I don't think it would be too hard to force a shorter range onto it.
