Why should we pick you over other candidates? You may write whatever you wish in order to convince us that you should be whitelisted. You might want to include experience, superior qualities, what we might be able to expect from your etc. Essentially sell yourself, make us pick you. I believe I am a strong candidate for OvC due to my very long experience as an OfC, amazing activity record, and my knowledge of the combine rules (I took a big part in writing the training manual for CCA). I also make an effort to support and guide new players within the faction.
Specific Questions
An OWS is 10 codes, as a supervisor what do you do?
I'd tell him to cease using the 10 codes and correct him immediately that Overwatch units do not use the 10 codes. I would also give him a link to the Overwatch handbook and warn him to not do it again and to read the handbook properly. If behavior continues after I have given them multiple warnings, I will defunct the unit.
A EOW is speaking to a citizen, it seems like casual chit-chat, as a supervisor what do you do?
I'd step in and demand that the EOW suspend talking to the citizen. I'd pull him aside and remind him that OTA are forbidden from talking to the civil populace. I'd warn him and provide him with the handbook link in LOOC and tell him to read it. I would keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't continue talking to the citizens. If behavior continues after the warnings I have given him, I would defunct the EOW.
You are a lone asset on a patrol, you see a rebel run inside a building, the building has no other exits or entrances, there are other assets active. What do you do?
I would inform any active CCA assets (since no overwatch assets are active, if I'm reading the question correctly) about the AC activity in the sector and request reinforcements at my vector. When a sufficient number of units arrive, we would inject and amputate the AC and sweep the building. if not even CCA units are active i would simply report what i saw and ripcord as it might be an ambush.
An EOW asset is purposefully going out onto plaza and refusing to listen to orders, as a supervisor what do you do?
I would demand that the EOW suspend and ripcords back to the nexus, if the EOW continues to disobey orders and doesn't ripcord, I would mark him as defunct
An i1 unit runs up to you and start screaming at you because you had let them die, as a supervisor what do you do?
I would simply ignore him and contact an available CCA supervisor to deal with him. I would also remind him in LOOC that his behavior is breaking NLR and that he's being out of character. if no CCA supervisory units are active i would order the unit to suspend his behaviour if he continues i would defunct the unit.
A CA is being un-cohesive, speaking none approved languages and spreading anti-combine propaganda, what do you do?
I would inform the CA via radio to suspend his uncohesive behavior, if he continues after my warnings, I would move to the CA's vector and defunct him as aswell as announce that the current CA was unfit for his position.
Before the city can be returned to civil from Judgement waiver, what must CCA await for from OTA?
The CCA has to wait for OTA to ripcord to a designated vector and to complete their headcount (condition alpha). After all units are accounted for, after that the CCA is allowed to de-escalate.
You are an OvC and condition Alpha is called by an ODL, what do you do?
I would respond to the condition and move to the designated vector along with my ST given by the ODL for the headcount.
You are leading a OZ with 2 other assets when suddenly you hear 3 anti-citizens speaking to each other inside a small house and they haven't heard you approach. How would you deal with this situation? I would activate code Midnight-Zero along with my ST, we would set up breaching positions, securing all ways into the house. After that is done, we would use flashbangs and breach the building, amputating the anti-citizens. After sweeping the building, we would secure any weapons and contraband, then ripcord.
A Jury unit reports there is an active rogue inside a known rebel outpost on the Storm System. What do you do in this situation?
I would assemble an ST to perform a shadow raid. After all units are present and overwatch is informed, we would inject into the storm system and move to the vector. According to the intelligence provided by the jury, we would try to avoid citizens and necrotics unless they are directly in our way. Once the rogue unit is amputated, my ST would ripcord.
