General Questions
Do you have a microphone? Not required
I do, but I do not use it often
Why should we pick you over other candidates?
I have a specialty in medium-long range combat, which the APF is most efficient at, and I have received no reprimands by high-command for any infractions as an Overwatch Soldier. I have several years worth of Hl2RP experience, and I think being in the position of APF would be a great benefit to the transhuman military.
Specific Questions
An OWS is 10 codes, as a supervisor what do you do?
10-codes are strictly to be used by metrocops and only metrocops, so my course of action is to approach the OWS to log their tagline, and order them to suspend communications, following after by informing them through radio that 10-codes are not to be used by transhuman assets. Failure to adhere to those guidelines will result in me logging their steam ID for later reports to high ranks.
A EOW is speaking to a citizen, it seems like casual chit-chat, as a supervisor what do you do?
Order the EOW to get back to our team, and state that they are suffering from cognitive dissonance, and must be recalibrated. This is an RP-friendly way to tell them to shut their mouth, and stop talking like a metrocop. Transhuman assets aren't people anymore, they're machines designed to accomplish tasks, and chatting with citizens is not one of them. Conversing with citizens will only put them at risk of an anticitizen attack and put them at risk of damage to operations.
You are a lone asset on a patrol, you see a rebel run inside a building, the building has no other exits or entrances, there are other assets active. What do you do?
This is very situational. If I'm on outland zone patrol, I will retreat to an area where said rebel cannot hear me, then inform other assets on the radio of the sighting. Together, we can clamp down the area and move in when we're ready to. I will ensure that they have their weapons ready, as having them on standby during a time like this can be fatal. If it happens in the city, my response will be directly tied to the city code. If I spot a rebel, I will report it on the general radio to inform Civil Protection of the situation, and if the code allows it, I will provide cover fire.
An EOW asset is purposefully going out onto plaza and refusing to listen to orders, as a supervisor what do you do?
Log their STEAMID and Tagline, and if orders to report to the Nexus are refused, I will tell metropolice where they are for body-bagging before swiftly deservicing them. I'll make sure to record the incident as well in case they falsely report me for Random-Death-Match.
An i1 unit runs up to you and start screaming at you because you had let them die, as a supervisor what do you do?
Promptly push them away to gain authority and order them to suspend. This is a clear violation of the New-Life-Rule, which is something that has to be controlled out-of-character through a staff report. Players that die should not retain memories of their past life, including what their supervisors may or may not have done.
A CA is being un-cohesive, speaking none approved languages and spreading anti-combine propaganda, what do you do?
Order them to stop any and all broadcasts and interactions with citizens, and report to the Nexus. Failing to comply after two warnings will result in deservicement under authorization. If they do comply, I will tell them what they should and should not do as a City Administrator, and I will log their STEAMID and name so that I may keep track of their behaviors. If they return to such behaviors in a short period of time, I'll bring them back to the Nexus, and deservice them followed by contacting higher-ups about possibly revoking the user's CA whitelist.
Before the city can be returned to civil from Judgement waiver, what must CCA await for from OTA?
OTA must confirm that all of their units have retreated from any condemned zones and successfully made it back to the Nexus before changing the code back to Civil.
You are an OvC and condition Alpha is called by an ODL, what do you do?
An ODL is two ranks higher than an OvC, so my move is to follow their order, informing my local units that we'll be taking ourselves to their designated Condition: Alpha position. Though I may be the lowest in the supervisory rank, I am still a supervisor, so I will likely be placing myself side-by-side with the ODL upon arrival.
You are leading a OZ with 2 other assets when suddenly you hear 3 anti-citizens speaking to eachother inside a small house and they haven't heard you approach. How would you deal with this situation?
Under all circumstances, do not use voice lines, and tell my units not to use them either. We'll utilize alt+walk to quiet our footsteps, and approach carefully. The opportunity to land a surprise attack is vital to containing anticitizen attacks, and if it's a clear opportunity and not bait for an ambush, it should be exploited for our benefit. Given I'm a Combine Suppressor in this instance, it would be great to catch the anticitizens as they're talking close-together, so that the efficiency of my weapon is at its upmost
A Jury unit reports there is an active rogue inside a known rebel outpost on the Storm System. What do you do in this situation?
Order an immediate suspension of Civil Protection and General Radio communications before consulting with other high-ranks on if a shadow raid is possible. If so, we move diligently, but quietly. We make our presence scarce in the city *and* the sewers, until we find the outpost and swiftly attack it. If we're spotted by rebels or scavengers on our way, the best course of action is to neutralize them as quickly as possible in order to not allow them to alert the others. A shadow raid is, like the name suggests, meant to be completed in the shadows, so a sudden attack by a transhuman squad is something the rebels are not prepared for.
