Why should we pick you over other candidates? You may write whatever you wish in order to convince us that you should be whitelisted. You might want to include experience, superior qualities, what we might be able to expect from your etc. Essentially sell yourself, make us pick you. Because I have past experience with supervisory status within the Civil Protection faction, I may not know everything there is to learn about being a OvC. But I will make sure I take proper amounts of time [1 hour a day, 3 times a week] to read the OTA Clarifications and OTA Handbook.
Specific Questions
An OWS is 10 codes, as a supervisor what do you do? Lecture them on the fact that OTA has separate terminology than the Civil Protection, that they do not use 10-codes, and shall get them affiliated with Proper OTA Terminology via providing them the OTA Handbook and Clarifications google documents. Additionally, I may point them towards the forums in which Imperial Knight has posted some of the Voice lines that OTA uses, as well as Civil Protection, but tell them to refrain from using either of the other faction's terminology depending on which faction they are currently active in.
A EOW is speaking to a citizen, it seems like casual chit-chat, as a supervisor what do you do? I would pull the EOW aside and consult them to remain cohesive, as speaking with a citizen, casually or un-casually is highly prohibited within the Overwatch Faction, the only exception I would make is them warning a citizen to get inside during a Judgement Waiver if they do not wish to amputate them immediately, if he is spotted giving them another warning and not amputating them after the citizen did not comply with Judgement Waiver protocol and conditions, no exception would be given. He would be pulled aside and lectured accordingly after Condition Alpha is dismissed.
You are a lone asset on a patrol, you see a rebel run inside a building, the building has no other exits or entrances, there are other assets active. What do you do? First of all, no Overwatch Asset should be out patrolling alone, especially NOT during JW, if this scenario DID happen on a Judgement Waiver, I still would not be patrolling alone, however, if the fact I had a ST with me, I would inform them of the Anti-Civil Presence and conduct a Block-Search to exterminate the threat, regardless of surrender, the anti-citizen has chosen his side, and would be amputated accordingly upon Viscon of the Anti-Citizen. No Anti-Citizen should be left alive during a Judgement Waiver.
An EOW asset is purposefully going out onto plaza and refusing to listen to orders, as a supervisor what do you do? Inform higher ranking OVERWATCH Supervisor's and My Fellow Supervisors in OvC of the issue regarding the Asset and mark him Defunct accordingly after the fact that he has been given warning about leaving the Nexus, even if he has to come face to face with de-servicement, if the Local Protection Teams fail to apprehend him within the next 30 cycles, then I would gather up intel from what the Civil Protection assets now, attempting to pinpoint the asset's general vicinity. And then discussing the option of Commencing a Shadow Raid with a LDR, and or ODL accordingly.
An i1 unit runs up to you and start screaming at you because you had let them die, as a supervisor what do you do? Firstly, I would inform CP Supervisory assets about the i1 talking down to an OTA Supervisory unit, report his location, and then recommend that they see to it that he is re-educated if he refuses to stop screaming, De-servicement being the highest level of punishment, besides of a De-Merit. Secondly, it is most un-likely that his untimely death had anything to do with the duties and responsibilities of an OvC. Which is the main factor to why I'd report it to any SV Assets active on Civil Protection.
A CA is being un-cohesive, speaking none approved languages and spreading anti-combine propaganda, what do you do? Report the Administrators in-cohesiveness against the Combine to Fellow OTA Leadership and discuss what actions may be taken. Provided the CA has been warned to stay cohesive multiple times, despite not listening, if a De-Servicement order is issued, the City Administrator [CA] would be fully De-Serviced accordingly, as we cannot have Anti-Combine Propaganda infecting other units, causing potential CP and OTA assets to rebel against the Universal Union, although it is Highly Un-likely that an Overwatch asset should rebel, it is still a possibility. Therefore it is our duty to ensure that any incohesive asset within the Combine is to be De-Serviced within Proper Reasoning, regardless of surrender or willingness to give up valuable information to the Combine. A CA would know way better than to spread Anti-Combine Propaganda, as they are considered one of the most trusted delegates within the Combine, this is also very unlikely to happen but should not be treated as it never will. This will always be a possibility; therefore, it is important we must stay committed in regard to the Duties and Responsibilities we hold whilst serving the Combine.
Before the city can be returned to civil from Judgement waiver, what must CCA await for from OTA? Complete confirmation that All Vectors in and outside of the City Limits have been swept accordingly and are reported Socio-Stable meaning that the Anti-Civil Incursion and or Presence has been completely diminished from the City at the discretion of OVERWATCH and Civil Protection, usually this is the other way around with Overwatch asking for De-Escalation confirmation, if this is not the case, Judgement Waiver may be prolonged depending on whether or not there is still an Anti-Civil Presence, for example, a BOL Target marked Anti-Citizen within the LPR-1 Region, after a secondary sweep was conducted to confirm Socio-Stability, De-Escalation can commence accordingly, I had the privilege of confirming this once during my Field Commander Duty within the Civil Protection, and after the Secondary Sweep, the presence was deemed unfit for prolonging Judgement Waiver, and the City-Code was De-Escalated.
You are an OvC and condition Alpha is called by an ODL, what do you do? Advise any and all Overwatch assets still outside of nexus, regardless of where they are, to ripcord immediately back to nexus, as far as my duty goes, it is to ensure the safe ripcord of my time, as they depend on me to lead them back, considering some of the Overwatch Assets would likely be new to the faction, and would forget to go back the way they came if they got separated from the Stabilization Team, therefore I say no asset left behind. I do not want him being genuinely lost and unknowingly forgetting how to ripcord to nexus. Neither do I wish to be held accountable on his action. Going back to Condition Alpha, the meaning of condition alpha is to report to the ODL's Vector (Location) immediately, ignoring Refresh and Resolve to then hold, assist the ODL with Condition Alpha, and then wait for De-Escalation.
You are leading a OZ with 2 other assets when suddenly you hear 3 anti-citizens speaking to each other inside a small house and they haven't heard you approach. How would you deal with this situation? In response to the Anti-Citizens making their presence known to me and my Stabilization Team, retreating a good distance away, I would advise my assets to use Code Midnight (Ceasing all actions that produce noise to avoid alerting the enemy to our presence) inside TAC-3 (Squad Radio), once I have established a confirmation of their presence, I would then use Hand Signals informing them on what to do and what position to take place, forming a plan in the process. Once given the signal, and our presence is made known, we would inject into the building and amputate the Anti-Civil threat as quickly as possible to eliminate or dis-allow any BSL's (Bio-signal Losses) and or casualties of my fellow Overwatch Delegates.
A Jury unit reports there is an active rogue inside a known rebel outpost on the Storm System. What do you do in this situation? I would acknowledge the JURY's transmission, and if Civil Protection Delegates are in-able to fully De-Service the Defunct Unit within 30 cycles, I would then inform Fellow Overwatch Leadership of the Rogue's Presence and actions, and suggest the use of a Shadow Raid (A directive given in a point of time where Local Protection Delegates are unable to resolve an issue regarding a Defunct unit or Anti-Civil presence where compliance is no longer being effective. In example: Civil Protection being unable to extinguish a Rebel Stronghold or Outpost that is not within OTA Jurisdiction.), given we are provided with enough detail and reason to insert into the Sewer System and make an attempt to extinguish the Rogue's Presence by either Capturing or Amputating them. In this event, I would have two Stabilization Delegate Inject through the Upper and Lower access of Sewer Systems of Transit line, effectively squishing or cornering the rogue Protection Delegate.
