Hi, thanks for making a ban appeal. You created over 35 campfires stacked around the map and rebel base that were removed by staff, you were warned for doing so and continued after. Unfortunately, your behavior in-game does not align with what you've described in your appeal. After being warned for spamming campfires and trying to glitch them, staff observed you intentionally placing a Combine bodybag in an elevator door, lining it up with the doorway itself and not bringing it in all the way. You then kept trying to get the elevator to close on it and cause lag/issues for the other 40 players with the elevator physics. While it did not succeed, this type of attempted exploit is considered a major/server crash attempt, which is why you were permanently banned after later review. Overall, you seemed to be primarily interested in exploiting instead of playing and RPing.
Creating a report on yourself for breaking the rules does not exempt you from them. The playtest is for testing the gameplay and we appreciate any reports of exploits, issues, or bugs you encounter, but your behavior was clearly malicious and excessive, outside of regular gameplay. Playtesting does not mean you can try to break the rules with major exploits, especially those in the game engine. In the future, if you notice an exploit, issue, or would like to test something like this, please ask game management for approval beforehand.
If your ban was more remorseful, we would consider a ban reduction, but I worry your behavior in-game will remain the same.
