After a while seeing players play as shackled vorts I have since had an idea, that idea being to provide some functions to the shackle rather than it being purely cosmetic.
One such function being to grant I2+ CP units and OTA units the ability to use the f6 menu and activate a stunning shock feature in a shackled vort's well shackle. I don't think that damage is needed for this action, in addition there should be a cooldown on said feature to prevent abuse and spamming. If damage is required for a certain scenario I believe it wise to either have it only available to whitelisted ranks of both CP and OTA, Just as with the no damage shock there too should be a cooldown but for a extended ammount of time. I feel that these would make sense to have and remove the need for CPs to even bother swinging their stunstick.
Another function I had thought of, but even I admit I am not 100% on it. Nonetheless I shall say it anyway is that perhaps when a shackled vort is unshackled it creates an alert similar to the CMB bio signal loss. Again I am unsure of this last one but as I said it's worth mentioning at least.
