Remove the yee old "Intention" system for rank points like on some helix servers

Intention isn't lore-friendly to HL2 regardless. Synapse just simply renamed I-5 through to I-1 one to one hundred rank points and OFC to Rank-Leader. ((They even used intentions at one point))

1758549964795.png " c17:RL°HERO-MEDIC 473"

1758550052902.png "C17-MEDIC-30°-3549" (What i'd like as the most simple change)
Helix -> Medic.

Grid -> Field Engineer

Jury -> Civil Protection Agent. (( "Helix. Grid. Jury. vice. union. " are all just combine phonemic alphabet codes- and don't have anything to do with a units specialist status.

Union -> Patrol Officer.

Vice -> EliteCP. (ECP) ((or maybe augmented unit- like they're transhuman? due to the helmet. I don't know what the lore is- in Willard they're just Riot-Police pretty much))

They could be named something deemed more fitting by the community but i thought I'd throw my hat into what the "Specialists" should be called in leu of they're currently dated names.

DVL -> Core Captain

CmD -> Commander IM HONNESTLY NOT 100% A FAN OF THESE NAMES MYSELF BUT IM JUST THROWING MY HAT IN. SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO AN ACRONYME. AND BE MORE BEFITTING OF THE COMBINE NAMING SCHMEE WOULD BE GREAT!

SqL -> Rank Captain.

In-game the names examples: "RANK LEADER UNION-### Combat Medic" "40 VICE-890 Patrol Officer" "COMMANDER GRID-9 ELITE UNIT"

I'd prefer if a units designation was ONLY VISABLE to the UNIT THEMSELVES and for other people it appears as

"Core Captain Medic"

"Rank Leader Patrol Officer"

TOO CITIZENS CP'S SHOULD BE CALLED "CIVIL PROTECTION ____" INSTEAD OF THEY'RE RANK + DESIGNATION FOR BOTH META+COMBAT REASONS

Instead of seeing cp's as they're full designation while not on the combine team- they should show up as "CP MEDIC" and "ELITE UNIT" etc.

and also something for the soldiers.. i think they should be debranded as "OTA" because they are never formally adressed as such- and obviously its a name made by the HL2RP community over a decade ago. instead they should be formally adressed as "Stabilization Delegates." it would be kept somewhat hidden that the combine soldiers are "Transhuman" to the civic populace so calling them "TRANSHUMANS" to they're face like "WE'RE THE BORG- THESE GUYS HAVE COMPUTORS IN THEY'RE HEADS MUHAHAH! WE ARE THE BAD GUYS!!1!!!11!" is stupid-

I like the idea of rank points it allows for progression but is a conflict with the servers intention of being semi-serious.

I like the name changes idea and something should be thought up for it, however I disagree with renaming the divisions and OTA. The reason being is that OTA are meant to be scary and are meant to have limited interaction with the civil populace, as well as Breen refers to them as Transhuman forces of the Combine Overwatch.

"TA" or "TF" would be a good alternative since it is ACTUALLY said in-game unlike "OTA" which is a kit-bash of words never said in sequence.

and the CP's obviously not having divisions in half life 2 is prevalent- but giving them the names from the combine phonemic alphabet is cringe- since if "HVT" doesn't mean "High value target." anymore. It means "Medic. Value target." and "Grid Oscar Alpha" meaning "Gone On arrival." now means "Engineer On Arrival." it makes no sense. its a total breach of communication and a breach of anonymity which is the entire design philosophy as the COMBINE as a faction- and a disgrace to the philosophy of the CP as an organization in half life 2.

Dr breen never calls them "OTA"
He never calls them "OTA" but they are referred to as the Transhuman arm of the Combine Overwatch.

And for this last thing, unfortunately you have to comparmentalise and realise then when someone says HVT or GOA, they are using codes, conditions etc.

I 100% Agree With The Tagline Changes Simply Because It Actually Makes Sense. In Half Life 2 - Alyx A Unit Is Typically Asigned A Call Sign Corresponding With Their M.P.F / OTA Division. For Example The Most Common MPF Division Being Union The Standard Patrol And Defence Division Would Have Often Had Call Sign Expanding From Union 1 - An Indefinite Number (Nobody Knows How Many There Were Lol)

For Example A Grid Unit Is Deployed To Go Fix Some Lighting And Or Camera Failures. Their Title Upon Radio And Database Would ICLY Be Something Like This

C24(City Number):I4(Rank)-GRID(Division Tag)-21(Unit Number Usually The Accord They Joined Division/MPF Faction In Game.. OR Pickable)
C24:I4-GRID-21

Big Fat +1 For The Taglines Suggestion

For now the names will be updated to <City Number>:<Rank>.<Tagline or Unit Number>. We'll be looking into renaming and redoing other parts, feel free to continue to discuss.
