The normal helmet's crafting level requirement should be reduced to 5-6. I think having it be 8 is a bit too high
Introduce a new craftable helmet: The wielding mask. Crafting level 8, requires a decent amount of refined metal, and plastic. Provides 65% resistance (Considering that headshots do x2 damage, it still does more damage to shoot the head then it does to aim for the chest if you're wearing a OTA vest).
The catch is that it provides a overlay that makes it harder to see anything that's not dead front of you. (You should seriously consider either removing third person, or make it only work when you dont have a gun out, otherwise this disadvantage can be completely ignored). And then there's the obvious fact that you cant wear a gasmask with it.
Greatly increase the radius of tear gas. Make a single grenade gas up an entire street. This combined with a non gasmask compatible helmet that provides better protection for rebs, will hopefully make grids with teargas more of a competitive pick.
