Decorations & General​

Map has been updated with seasonal decorations and snow! Apartments each have a Christmas tree.

Christmas Radio​

Plays Christmas music from 4 different selectable channels. Has two controls, one for turning the radio on and off and another for changing the channel. Can be purchased from the F4 Menu. Volume preference can be adjusted in F1 → Settings → Christmas → Christmas Radio volume.

Snowball Crates​

Crates with piles of snowballs have been added around the map. Retrieve some snowballs to fight with! Snowballs can be thrown at other players.

Player menu has been updated for the season with a new purchasable item, the 4-channel Christmas Radio.

Animations & Act Commands​

Commands for doing certain animations/acts have been added:
  • Hands
  • Sit Ground
  • Lay (1-3)
  • Idle (1-5)
  • Sit (1-7)
  • Lean (1-2)
  • Check
  • Injured
  • Arrest
  • Sitwall

Passive NPC System​

To liven up the map, a new passive NPC system has been implemented. With this, we can design and setup each map to have certain NPCs around the map at desired amounts.

Sewers and outlands now have varying kinds of zombies.

Night Vision​

Civil Protection and Overwatch can now use F7 to activate Night Vision on their helmet/visor. There's also a console command that can be used to make your own bind: impulse_nightvision

Zombie Faction​

An all-new faction has been added with 7 classes! All players can access this faction as long as they meet the XP requirements.

Zombie Heat Vision​

Zombies can use F to activate Zombie Heat Vision. There's also a console command that can be used to make your own bind: impulse_zombievision

Zombie Armor​

Certain zombie classes have different levels of armor. Armor is regained by harvesting players.

Harvest​

Player bodies can be harvested by zombies by clicking F2. Harvesting increases armor & health while also appeasing hunger.

Break Open Doors​

Zombies that have arms can attack doors to lower their HP and eventually break them open. Door health depends on the kind of door. Certain doors such as Combine doors are reinforced and cannot be broken open by zombies.

Zombie Spores​

Zombies can configure their class at zombie spores. In the future, these are planned to be updated with more functionality, including traveling between spores.

Other Changes​

  • Implemented a new player sound system which is more realistic and performant
  • Implemented a new player-NPC relationship system. Dynamically updates, including for staff in noclip
  • Performance improvements to the camera view & HUD
  • Replaced CWU Medical Supplier with a new model from our current pack
  • Improved CWU Medical worker appearance (legs, shoes)
  • Improved Surgical Mask
  • Improved hat/cosmetic positions on citizen playermodels
  • Added new chat command classification for event staff. Allows for coloring of commands in the auto-complete UI
  • Events staff and above can now use /setmodel if they are a gamemaster
  • Added new command for Events Staff and above: /eventmanager with a short alias of /em
  • Improved third-person view anti-wall collisions
  • New client performance setting: Advanced multi-core rendering enabled
    • Improves client performance significantly on computers with more than one CPU core, which most modern systems do
