General Information

Discord Username: jeeph
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:100860323
What rank are you applying for?: OfC

Questions

Why are you applying for this position?:
Civil Protection in the afternoons when Supervisors are less likely to be on is a nightmare. I see units running into combat with no sense of life-preservation, randomly killing and arresting people. I wish to change this.

Why should we choose you over other applicants?:
I believe I should be picked over others due to my experience as a Supervisor, and my timezone allows me to be more active at times when others aren’t able to play.

What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP):
My longest Supervisory run was on Nova Aurora HL:A-RP from April 29th, 2023 (Approximately) to September 4th, 2023 (Approximately). 80% (OfC) from April 29th to May 11th, RL (SqL) from May 11th to May 20th, and STL (DvL/DcO) from May 20th to September 4th. You can confirm this information with some gentlemen like Soviet (xsovietbear on Discord), M!lky (mlkystar on Discord), aip aseald (aip_aseald on Discord), KAP (kap5643 on Discord), and darkshadowbuzz (Discord is the same). Some other people you could ask, however they might not remember me, are Slim Stumpy, Nocturn, Antlion Gaming, and ScouseAnthony.
I have otherwise been on Supervisory Teams across several other HL2RP servers, including this one currently as an OVC, before they either died or closed due to complications. This includes Volatility as an LDR and Triage as an SqL.

What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?:
My time zone is PST, so I’m usually on in the afternoons when other Supervisors aren’t around.

Do you have a working microphone?:
No

Scenarios

You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?:
Take him to the side, tell him that it’s not how he should be acting, and if he continues it could result in a deservicement. In the event that he continues to act the same, I would take note of his SteamID, and deservice him. If he comes back after being deserviced and continues, I would Combine Ban him for up to a day depending on the severity, and demerit him.

An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?:
I would tell the i3 to suspend uncohesive transmissions, if he continues, order him to report to the Nexus, in which case he’ll be re-educated and told a second time in person to suspend uncohesive transmissions. At which point, if he does another uncohesive transmission he’ll be deserviced. In the event that he doesn’t show up to the Nexus after his 1st strike, he’ll be marked an Autonomous Unit and will be hunted down until fully deserviced.

During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?:
I’d give hotpoint to the next highest rank in the PT, and take the i4 to the side at a safe location. From there, I’ll tell him what charges the citizen should have been given instead, and what the incorrect charges are used for, as well, I’d ask him if he has the Handbook and is in the Combine Discord server, and provide them in the case he says no.

You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?:
Take him to the side, alert him of his wrongdoings, and ensure there’s a strike on his record. He’s an OfC, not an i1, he should know better than to let his temper get the best of him.

You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?:
I’d order the PT to spread out and find cover away from one another. From there, I’d have the PT wait for the explosion to go off. In the event that it was a false beep, I’d move in to arrest the citizens for 27, 99, and any other applicable charges.

A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?:
Make a radio transmission that there is an outbreak at the location, and order my PT to engage the threat to dim down their numbers. In the event that there are too many Necrotics, I’d order my PT to retreat and lock down a more safe position near the sector entrance (the IS-3 to IS-4 Gate on D47 for example) and hold for reinforcements.
