Questions
What is the rank you're applying for within the faction?: Workforce Minister
Why are you applying for this position?: At the moment, there is no current Minister. And I believe I would make a perfect candidate to be one. I have extensive experience with CWU, as I was applying to be a Minister on "Nomad HL2RP" and had a good reputation with the populace.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I believe, thanks to experience as a CWU worker, and a CWU Industrial Plant Manager on Nomad, I would make a great candidate to lead CWU to greatness. With plans to enhance the Roleplay and overall looks of the CWU Faction as a whole.
What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP): I have experience in being a CWU Manager (Nomad) and OfC (Nomad, Astronet)
What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?: I am on almost 24/7, if I am not busy at that specific day. I try to be active atleast 4 hours a day minimum.
What sort of roleplay do you plan to bring to the faction and server in this position?: I plan on hosting Workshifts outside of events, create roleplay scenarios, decorate the CWU Factory with more props, promote people into the appropriate positions and overall make the Civil Workforce Union flourish with a new Minister.
Describe your type of proposed events/workshifts or passive roleplay you would help with or create in the faction?:
Workshift - A normal day begins with the sound of the workers in the Factory, chattering and doing their best to make more cash for themselves. Suddenly, the Higher Ranks of Terminal 6 have commissioned us to head into the Outlands Zone for a "mining operation", where we are to gather materials from the ores and caves around the entirety of the OZ. The workers would be separated into teams of 3 - 4, and sent out with specific quotas. If the team does not reach the quota, they would be demoted and reprimanded for their failure. If all teams meet their quota, everyone would get a big payout.
Roleplay Scenario: Stopping all workers as the machinery and conveyor belt has malfunctioned, calling in engineers that would assist us in fixing the problems.
Are you a member of a rebel group, or are you in a leadership position in a rebel group?: I am a member of the DSI Resistance Group, however, the group hasn't been active in recent months. And the character I plan on using for the CWU Minister position would remain specifically a CWU Main.
How many hours of loyalist gameplay as a citizen do you have? (rough guess if not exact is fine): I first started to do Loyalist Roleplay on D47, around December. Up until March where I eventually stopped. (4 months of Loyalist Gameplay), I have been a massive Loyalist main back on Vanilla for about 2 months aswell, before Vanilla eventually shut down.
Scenarios
You're directing a civil workforce shift when CPs arrived led by a supervisor and demand assistance from the Union. What do you do?: I quickly stop all my workers and tell them that the Combine requires our assistance now more than ever. And tell them that we will assist the Supervisor with anything they require help with with dignity, strength and pride! I would promise my workers Bonuses as compensation for the fact their workshift has been interrupted.
Judgement Waiver has been activated in the city during your workforce shift, what do you do during this situation?: I quickly make a /request informing the Civil Protection of our current location. And letting them know that the workshift is returning to the factory to remain in there until the end of the JW. After that, I direct my workers to follow me to the Factory, where I tell them all to remain indoors until the situation has been handled by our benefactors and protectors.
You receive a written letter from a claimed rebel source regarding a Union hostage, what do you do in this situation?:
I quickly make a /request (unless the letter states otherwise). Informing the Civil Protection of the current hostage situation. I follow the Civil Protection's advice, and try to make sure the Hostage is released without any issues.
If the letter tells me not to contact Civil Protection, I listen to them and follow any and all instructions in order to get the hostage back safely. If they make a request that is out of my jurisdiction, I try to negotiate with the rebel source for the hostage's life while at the same time trying to de-escalate the situation.
You learn someone has stolen from the workshift or you suspect an individual of doing so, what do you do?: I quickly stop the individual and separate him from the rest of the workers. I quickly make sure to inform any Civil Protection or OTA Assets of the individual's doing and/or my suspicions. Asking them to search the individual. If there are no assets present, I take a note of the individual's actions, remembering for next time. If I see any other infractions, I quickly tell him to leave the workshift and return to his home, and to take the time off for approximately five minutes.
One of your workshift employees is uncohesive and non-responsive to your instructions. What do you do?: I consider this a major infraction and try to resolve this with formality and politeness, trying to get him to listen. If this does not work however, I would go ahead and quickly contact Civil Protection assets to quickly re-educate the employee. Along with punishing him by demeriting him for any future promotions.
You learn another supervisor is abusing workshift mechanics to give monetary rewards to his friends or himself, what do you do?: I take note of this, and quickly talk to the Supervisor about the abuse of his rank, and the betrayal of the CWU as a whole by giving himself and his friend rewards. I would quickly note all of his friends and mark them as potential dangers if they are to be promoted to supervisory ranks (with no ban, simply a note to look out for this behavior), and ban the one abusing the workshift mechanics from becoming a supervisor again, demoting him to worker.
