Needs More Support Make LPR Back into a NPR or Let OTA Deploy there to guard that place

Each time I ambushed OTA in LPR, it was always due to their own mistake of not watching their back and not having any form of game sense.

First ambush was two OTA that were both looking forward, not watching their back. I killed the OWS first, leaving an APF alone, who proceeded to waste his ammo by shooting a wall. I then pushed up and killed him.

Second ambush was when OTA were doing a shadow raid on the motel, where I managed to kill two OTA (OWS and EOW), they ended up killing me and my partner in crime due to their numbers and the fact they used their heads this time around.

Third ambush was when OTA were returning from OZ, I gathered a group of rebels to ambush them in LPR, with an FN Fal, 2 MP7s and an USP. We managed to take them down but not without heavy losses (including me, FN Fal guy carried)

Fourth ambush was when OTA got shot in LPR, retreated to OZ and were setting up checkpoint while waiting for us to push. We decided to loop around the entire OZ, scattering them with a pipebomb and then picking them off. Not to mention they never once turned around or looked around the area to check if we're ambushing them.

I think the LPR is a good choice to have, Combat is finally fair and fun without having to camp the Nexus doors or camp in RB-1. It's also a new area for RP, due to how clamped it is and people will finally interact with each other in the Motel. I saw someone open up shop there as a CWU in the cafeteria. OTA and CCA just sometimes lack game-sense and think rushing in head-first/wasting your ammo trying to suppress someone is a good strategy. Especially when they're fighting rebels with game-sense, they'll die due to them not using any tactics or strategy. LPR will take time to adjust to, but you also need to work on your skills, and realize LPR is not friendly anymore, you need to stay on high alert each time you pass through. Ask Scanners to check the area or ask CCA to clear the area before deploying. Use your heads. Work smarter not harder.
As the FN FAL guy from the third ambush and the pipebomb guy in the 4th i can confirm those. OTA REALLY need to get their shit together. Their performance really cements my belief that they need whitelists atleast for non grunts, or SOME kind of screening process.

With that being said i DO think rebs have a little TOO much of a homefield advantage via being able to stuff their arsenals into ender chests the moment they feel threatened. If a reb doesn't want to incriminate himself, its too easy for them to stuff their evidence in a ender chest.

Perhaps we could take a page from HL2s book and make it so if someone in the LPR is considered a criminal, then the everyone else is considered associated. The idea is the heavy scrutiny might help combine control the situation when its clear bullshit is up without waiting to take a Sako round to the head... But im willing to admit that might be a terrible idea, im just spitballing here.

Basically combine are acting like tactically inept morons but they're not COMPLETELY wrong here.

oh yeah lets ignore the fact that OTA is never the one to attack first and rebels can just pretend to be normal civs and bomb the OTA squad on their way to OZ

OTA vs Rebel fights are oftenly basically a 'wins who attacks first' and rebels basically get a advantage due to the fact that OTA will never be the first to attack unless a certain condition called JW is met, which by the way just makes every rebel vanish

Rebels can just turn the fact that LPR is ota's only way to outlands into a free loot farm

btw not wanting to be ruder than i usually am but your reply sounded like it was written by an AI
Ok im mildly offended by that last jab man.

only time where it went actually well is where i did a shadow raid and constently reminded the squad to check their fucking backs (we had eagle as APF so he did a good job)
this fight also teached me how if you do dumb shit you die. FAST but we won.

while i like the idea of "if a rebel is in LPR then everyone is a accomplice" i dont really see how its gonna change anything. and i do think we need to find a way to better balance the advantage rebel have that is "i only need 30s to put all my stuff in a ender chest after i killed a squad of CPs"

TLDR: start using tactics and use your utilities wisely (when CCA get manhacks they could def use them to support a assault

Low-key CCA and OTA just rarely deploy their specialist divisions. Most people with VICE or APF never use them.

Most not all. Just most.

Im OK with them storing their shit shortly after they win- it prevents rebs from loosing their gains to secondary waves from salty combine; they won that fight, they should be able to store the wins, what IM opposed to is being able to just pull your shit out from a enderchest out of nowhere. Thats why i mentioned before about making enderchests illegal items that you have to place- so you can still pull your shit out in a moments notice, but now its from a destroyable source the combine can shut you down for having.
