Why are you applying for this position?: I want to climb the ranks and do my part to mend the generally embarrassing scene that is Civil Protection at the moment, namely the horrific rule breaking and power tripping seen on a constant basis by people from all sorts of positions.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I've been playing gmod since i was a littlelun, so i've got quite the connection with this game as it helped shape my childhood, really. I first got into semi serious hl2rp in 2018 when i joined Requiem Gaming, so i've got quite a wealth of experience as a result of my longstanding participation in the community. Also, being part of this "older" generation of hl2rp players it's quite the guarantee that i'll keep a clear head when things go off the walls (cough o-block) and actually sort out a way forward. Adding onto this, i'm quite a calm, easygoing guy so i'm pretty good at resolving conflicts.
What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP): Back on Requiem Gaming i'd play as CmD alot and SeC occasionally, so i've got quite a good sense of how to conduct oneself as a result.
also im in a couple of roblox northern ireland groups and lead the british security forces in them lmao
What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?: I'd be on most days, bar mondays and wednesdays for quite a fair few hours, as i've come to miss semi serious (hence me getting involved in the community)

Scenarios
You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?: Tell him to calm down and try to talk to him and explain to him the way he's meant to conduct himself, he's an i4 so he's probably quite new and doesnt understand just how things work. If he continues, i'd ultimately have to deservice him.
(this scenario sort of depends on the rank i am, assuming im an OfC in this one?)
An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?: Again, he's an i3 so probably still getting to grips with how he's meant to ask, i'd simply hit him with a verbal warning which is usually enough to get someone to fix up, and i'd pm him and let him know what to do next time.
During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?: I'd firstly let him know what charges he was meant to arrest someone for, and i'd then send him an invite to the combine discord, and point him towards the mpf handbook to help guide him. I'd also suggest that he attaches onto my PT so that I could help guide him a bit, since he's clearly not being taught.
You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?: I'd pm him ASAP and warn him about the severity of what he's done as well as the irresponsibility of how brazenly he's used the punishment. I'd keep a mental note of him, and advise him on what the CORRECT course of action would have been for the situation.
You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?: I'd immediately pull my PT back into a position of safety so that we can cordon off the area, hopefully having been able to catch the names of the people shouting in code for a BOL, and apprehend them should the immediate opportunity arise. I'd radio in the potential IED threat (given the beep) and await reinforcements while we search citizens in the vicinity.
A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?: Radio it in and ask for an additional PT to our location while we begin to deal with some of the outbreak ourselves, namely by gunning down any zombies or headcrabs in the area, while evacuating civilians in the general vicinity. Once reinforcements would arrive, we'd initiate a sweep of the area clearing any signs of the outbreak in the area, before reporting the outbreak as contained/cleaned.
