What rank are you applying for?: Officer (OfC)

Questions

Why are you applying for this position?: I am applying for this position as I want to focus on improving the current state of MPF with advice, I believe that there are things that can be improved on and I want to ensure that happens. In addition, I also want to provide more RP as an Officer to other units and Citizens, hence why I want to apply for MPF with the RPs in question being workshifts and trainings so people can engage and have fun. Ultimately, I want to apply because I want people to have fun and improve MPF to ensure they do good.

Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I believe that my timezone (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) would be one of the reasons why I should be chosen over other applicants, I can oversee individuals when it's night time and late night for the US and EU people. In addition, I have a more of an open mind and willing to hear out others when a situation occurs which requires resolution. I am dedicated to this and I am more than willing to prove it if required, I have the experience for it.

What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP):

- Site Defence General (SCPRP, Oversaw both MTF and GENSEC).
- HELIX Officer (HL2RP, Exodious Gaming).
- Intention One unit (HL2RP, Cataclysm; NCO)
- Intention One unit (HL2RP, PG; NCO (SWORD) ).

What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?: Constant activity for both the morning and late afternoon around my timezone (AEDT), so when activitiy's ramping up and when it's dying down for the late night. This is going to be every-day of course.

Do you have a working microphone?: Yes

Scenarios

You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?: I'd speak to the i4 with a calm tone and ask them what is going on and if I did something wrong to offend them. If they keep on insulting me and disregard the warnings I provide them to stop, then I will deservice them after three warnings and announce over TAC-1 that it is to be disregarded. I'd also get their STEAM-ID and tagline, logging the incident.

An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?: I've speak over radio to inform the i3 about remaining cohesive and to link up at the MPF barracks for a discussion. The discussion will relate about teaching the MPF how to be cohesive and teach him that the OOC lingo wouldn't really make sense in RP. I'd obviously remain calm while doing this and ensure the i3 knows what to say and what not to say.

During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?: Pull them aside and gently tell them what they did wrong before taking the time to train him on the basics of MPF. What the specific charges me, how to properly charge someone, how to interact with Citizens and MPF. Easing them into it and ensuring they don't mess up, I'd keep an eye on them after the training and ensure they are linked up with my PT to show them the ropes for when specific situations occur.

You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?: The Officer will be pulled aside and discuss what happened, it ultimately depends on if this is the first offense or if this was a repeated thing by the OfC. If this was a first-time, I'd inform the Officer that what they did was wrong and mark it as a warning just in case it'd happen again. If it's been something that's happened on multiple occasions, then I'd deservice the Officer and remove him from his position due to his ill temper. Having someone who shows anger problems within a powerful position is not a good thing, they need to learn not to do this sort of thing.

You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?: Split the PT and ensure the Citizens don't escape from RDC. Detain said Citizens and begin to take them to interrogation after searching them, interrogate them seperately and if they are found guilty of a specific charge, then charge them with that. Ultimately the goal is to crack the code and allow JURY to conduct the interrogation as needed.

A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?: Set up a Quarantine Zone within an area and ensure that the PT is remaining within a defensive position. Ensure all exits of the outbreak are secured and wipe out any Necrotics are sterilised. If in the situation it gets out of control, fall back and request for additional support.
