Why should we pick you over other candidates? You may write whatever you wish in order to convince us that you should be whitelisted. You might want to include experience, superior qualities, what we might be able to expect from your etc. Essentially sell yourself, make us pick you.
I have former Supervisory experience from Landis, Triage and Deep Gaming. I got to LDR on Landis, was a former Commander for Triage (current HC for OTA), and a former Commander on Deep Gaming. I have a few years of OTA experience and Supervisory and have always loved playing OTA and take it extremely seriously.
Specific Questions
An OWS is 10 codes, as a supervisor what do you do?
Place a waypoint to speak to the unit 1-on-1 and see if they have a prior record or any de-merits. If no such de-merits exist I will inform the unit that OTA do not use 10 codes and it is strictly for Civil Protection. If they have 1 de-merit I will log another one and alert fellow Supervisory to keep an eye on them.
A EOW is speaking to a citizen, it seems like casual chit-chat, as a supervisor what do you do?
Same thing I did with the OWS, place a waypoint and look at his history. If he has no priors I would warn him and de-service him IC and no OOC punishments. Any more than a warning and I would take OOC action (alerting HC, mods and de-meriting).
You are a lone asset on a patrol, you see a rebel run inside a building, the building has no other exits or entrances, there are other assets active. What do you do?
Hold the entrance to the building while attempting to stay out of sight and throw down a reinforcement waypoint in order to ensure we can take the ACs or any other potential ACs inside.
An EOW asset is purposefully going out onto plaza and refusing to listen to orders, as a supervisor what do you do?
If the unit is ignoring any waypoints to respond, I would mark them autonomous and let game staff and higher command know to potentially get him removed from the faction.
An i1 unit runs up to you and start screaming at you because you had let them die, as a supervisor what do you do?
Before taking any action, I would see if any Civil Protection SVs are on, if so I will inform them and let them handle it. Other wise, I will tell them to resume nominal duties and alert a Civil Protection Supervisor out of game with their Steam Name, Steam ID, and Tagline so they can discipline them accordingly.
A CA is being un-cohesive, speaking none approved languages and spreading anti-combine propaganda, what do you do?
If no higher ranks are on, tell the CA to suspend, if he fails to, I will de-service and de-merit him. If it continues, I will get Moderation involved to ensure he cannot continue to minge.
Before the city can be returned to civil from Judgement waiver, what must CCA await for from OTA?
CCA must wait for all OTA units to be accounted for and are given the go once all OTA are accounted for.
You are an OvC and condition Alpha is called by an ODL, what do you do?
I would proceed to the rally point ASAP and take my ST back to the waypoint and line up with the Ordinal.
You are leading a OZ with 2 other assets when suddenly you hear 3 anti-citizens speaking to eachother inside a small house and they haven't heard you approach. How would you deal with this situation?
I would have all units alt walk and make sure all flashlights are off, then the perimeter. I would then find all means of entry/exit and lock them in place, hoping one peaks out and we can catch one off guard. Once that is done, we can use Util like Flashes, Smokes or Tear Gas to ensure we can take them all out with minimum casualties.
A Jury unit reports there is an active rogue inside a known rebel outpost on the Storm System. What do you do in this situation?
I would prep a team of 5 members to conduct a shadow raid. I would first confirm the target location with the Jury, begin prepping the log in Discord and commence once the Jury confirms or denies their existence. If they confirm it, I would launch the SR and head straight there eliminating anyone on sight then Ripcording immediately.
