What rank are you applying for?: OfC
Questions
Why are you applying for this position?:
I’m currently applying to increase the active supervisor count on the server.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?:
I have a very intensive background in leadership, communication, and correspondence work. I maintain a sense of discipline and professionalism when interacting with higher and lower ranks. I also have a lot of work training and teaching.
What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP):
On impulse I reached the rank of DvL, on Volatility I reached LDR on OTA, i2 (Razor & Ghost) on DG/PG, ECS APF Aswell. On CvR, I reached a lot of different ranks with EpU on MACE, Z2 in the MPF Squad Zeta, 2Lt on sniper, OfC in Jury and Ballista. Long story short a LOT of experience in working with other supervisory roles and a lot of experience in training units on Gmod.
What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?:
You should expect someone who is active mainly on weekends and certain week nights. However, you should expect consistency.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes
Scenarios
You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?:
Immediately, pull the i4 aside. Now while maintaining my composure, communicate with the unit clearly to suspend. I will try to ask what caused these outburst, retrain/guide them away from the behavior, and warn them that if this behavior continues it will lead to deservicement. Afterwards I will keep a close eye on them and their behavior. If they proceed with their insulting, then it will most likely lead to a deservicement.
An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?:
As Per the Civil Protection Handbook, I would give a clear warning over radio to suspend, and if they proceed they will be met with deservicement.
During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?:
Pull them aside and ask them if they have been trained. If not immediately I would give them the Handbook, and ask any i1 online if they are available to train the i4. If not I have no problem spending some time with the unit to teach them. Even if they were trained I would explain what went wrong and how they can correct it for future references.
You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?:
Right off the bat, remove the OfC from a position where he can continue deservicement (IE: Pull him aside into the nexus or barracks). Question him and try getting a complete grasp of what was the situation. Proceed to log the incident and communicate with DvLs, since according to the handbook “These units will typically be the ones promoting/demoting Officers”, and the CmD since they are my immediate supervisor.
You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?:
The first thing is to call a code 10. Proceed to make sure that the units are dispersed and clear from any IED potentials. Afterwards try to detain and interrogate the code talkers.
A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?:
Call out over Radio, maintain a defensive position to try to hold as units arrive to support. Try getting an airwatch to get a visual of the area.
