Unturned Newer Map Version Connection Error Guide

If you have encountered an error when trying to connect to one of our servers that says the server is on a newer version and you are on an older one, this guide is for you.

This error is happening because the server has updated to a newer version of the map and your Steam client has not yet automatically downloaded the new map update from the Steam Workshop. To resolve this, follow these steps:

1. Exit out of Unturned.
2. Find the map below and go to its Steam Workshop page:
   1. A6 Polaris: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2898548949
   2. Arid: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2683620106
3. Make sure you are signed in.
4. Click "Unsubscribe" and then "Subscribe" (if you are not already subscribed, then simply subscribe).
5. Wait for Steam to validate and update Unturned.
6. Start the game and connect to the server.
