c.w.u landlord role

A landlord section for c.w.u preferably on whitelist since it requires lots of building. The landlord could make special buildings with special entities in the business tab for a house or apartments such as a door or whitelist only grid barrier (alternatively a mix which is just a reskinned grid barrier as a door that is just one size) and a placeable storage box that you can only put 25 kg in every 30 minutes. The benefits of renting from a landlord is increased security from both rebels if your a loyalist/city administrator or alternatively as a rebel cp's will have to ask the landlord to open the door only downsides of being a landlord is if you do not comply to a search on someone who otherwise would have a search on their house or simply do not respond you will be arrested for reckless operation and contraband or several other charges depending on what the renter has done. As a c.w.u landlord you can either pay in person or set a price on a door if you set a price on a door it will have to be below 30 tokens at minimum.

I feel like you could do this already with others and RP, Seqelb actually has done some RP like this with me before that we called the “Civil Homeowners Association” and I was doing illegal activities in the building for a rent price; when I was caught he was charged for harboring me.

Though, it is harder to set up an actual rent system that works with no system.

I do like the idea, however I'm not sure if the combine would allow a specific landlord to own a building for monetary gain. Most CP's won't want to find a landlord to gain access to an apartment as they usually have control over everything, or would normally just kick the door down.

The idea is great though, however I'm just not sure if it fits in with the lore.

yeah i kinda see that i was kinda hesitant to put that part in the suggestion i only really added it due to the fact there would literally be 0 incentive for normal civs to want the house when its just a normal overpriced building maybe adding like inbuilt workbenches of some sort would help like a advanced workbench that can help you craft very low tier guns and ammo like pistol only or something would be a good replacement instead. i kinda just brushed off the lore reason cus "oh well he could be like a higher rank of civic populace or something" but 1 ca's exist and they have no rights and 2 in that case they probably would not harbor rebels at all
