When we were civil protection officers, we could implement a whitelist for i3 and above, thereby creating a truly worthwhile gaming experience for players that encourages effort and dedication, and thus prevents trolling.

+1 Support there are too many people in ranks like i1 that are either mingey, don't know how to play, or don't know how to lead.

thats how you kill a server, less people playing on combine cuz far less wanna apply for a position they gotta get mostly by bootlicking their superiors or being friends with superiors. DG had a gigantic issue with such thing of ppl not being promoted as its hard to keep track of everyone. this is semi-serious not seriousRP

I do think there should at least be a quiz to enter CP, there are several minges in the faction usually in the off times (which includes me)

-1. -Soup. -Support.
This is not SeriousRP, this is not Synapse. We do not need whitelists.
We want to be an RP server without dipping into "extreme" levels of what people would consider SeriousRP. Do you have an alternative to this suggestion?

Could we create a fair and reasonable way to keep track of promotions and who's in each position?

perhaps however it really narrows down to superiors such as OFCs+ being in check to be unbiased and recognize efforts more often. i'm just giving my personal opinion on this matter.

Frankly? No.

When you start introducing whitelists for every rank after i3, you run into an issue where:
1. Nepotism can occur, friends promoting friends, and others get left in the dust.
2. Hard work goes unnoticed due to timezones, playing the character when SVs aren't around, or more.

Maybe an in-game quiz could help? Say, for i2, you take a quiz about how to properly play CivPro; then for i1, you take a different quiz on how to properly lead?
These might help, but it's hard to say.
