HL2RP Balancing Team

Hello everyone,

As our Half-Life 2 RP server evolves, we want to continue to bring fun, engaging new content that everyone can enjoy. With this in mind, we, the management team, will need to decide how certain features are developed and how they will affect your interaction with the server. There are many fantastic ideas being proposed right now that may need "additional eyes" as new features get developed. For this reason, we are now announcing the creation of the Astronet HL2RP Balancing Team.

What is it?

The balancing team is a low-stakes group that will assist development by providing insight relevant to their respective faction. Three experts from each team, such as Civil Protection, OTA, Vort, etc, will be selected and will offer guidance while new context is developed and released. The team will meet occasionally on Discord and in-game to assist the management team with feature creation.

What is it not?

Being a member of the balancing team is not a staff rank, nor does it give you priority for any suggestions you propose. We seek users who can provide context for each faction and help us advance roleplay within their respective teams through the content we create. Do not join the balancing team if you aren't interested in improving the server's quality.

How do I apply?

Here is the template if you wish to apply. You can post your application in this thread. This application is competitive, since we are searching for users who "main" the faction they are applying for, so put in your best effort.

2: Why do you think you can speak on behalf of the faction? Cause im a very passionate rebel main with lots of ideas, and years of experience of being a rebel main in other impulse servers, and i am aware of the balance dynamic between rebels, and combine as a whole.

3: Is there anything noteworthy you have done in-game? I did a few successful shot cops, and a made a couple bombs, but other then that, i mostly just chill and RP with other rebs who actually bother to RP.

2: Why do you think you can speak on behalf of the faction? I have been a vortigaunt main since impulse, I have knowledge of what Vortigaunt needs and stuff need fixing etc
3: Is there anything noteworthy you have done in-game? I helped rebels with either healing or helping in shotcopping when possible. But I do RP as being chill, give wisdom as best as possible
4: Is there anything else we should know about you? Vortigaunt main mostly and I do know vortigese (with help of friends from impulse) and have docs of vortigaunt language I can use
