Questions
Why do you wish to apply for APF?
I wish to apply for APF because it will feel like a new challenge for me, being the slowest asset while also carrying firepower.
What do you think APF represents?
They represent the primary support for the OTA, their ability to completely suppress a position alone gives them the upper-hand in most combat situations at close-medium range. They are tasked with giving fellow assets an advantage in combative situations.
Do you think you can bring anything new to the division?
At the moment, with it being so new, the only realistic things that I can bring to the division are suggestions to make the division better in the long run and to ultimately become a role model for future APF.
Scenarios
Map - i17
You are deployed as an ST lead alongside 4 other interlocked assets: 1 MACE 2 ECHOs equipped with AR2s and 1 ECHO with an MP7.
You are displaced on an OZ sweep and begin approaching the doorway leading to OZ-2 when you realize a group of up to 7 rebels have established a foothold in OZ-2 and have created a killzone within said transfer hallway. It is also reported that they have a confirmed sniper on top of one of the 2 warehouses. Your ST has been tasked with clearing out the sector with minimal losses, failure is non-negotiable. How will you proceed? (Keep in mind, you are leading the ST and have full control over your interlocked assets)
I would deploy the MACE and 2 ECHO-EOWs to the Quadrant-3 Canals, having them go through the Canals into Quadrant-2, ordering them to attempt to get as close as possible before engaging or being noticed by the ACs. As for myself and the ECHO-OWS, we would hold the doorway to the hallway, ensuring the Rebels cannot run through it. The 3 Assets deployed through the Canals, would hopefully be smart enough to hug the wall and remain out of sightline of the Sniper, and take him out while he’s still watching the Killzone. Once the sniper is disposed of, those 3 assets are tasked with making sure the other 7 rebels become more distracted by the closing presence of OTA from their rear, giving myself and the OWS an opening to start moving through the Killzone hallway while using smoke grenades, flash grenades, and tear gas in order to effectively sandwich and grind down the holdout.
Do you understand that any misconduct within the division can lead to your removal?
Yes
