What rank are you applying for?: OfC

Questions

Why are you applying for this position?: I believe I'd make a good candidate for the OfC position. I've reached I1 many times on other HL2RP servers. And I see a lack of supervisory units on whenever I join the server early. And I also see a lack of Supervisory units training/guiding their new I4's or other players whom have no idea what is going on.

Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I am active 90% of the time. I know my stuff (handbook-wise and code-wise and even HL2RP/HL2 lore wise if required). I've been on multiple of other HL2RP Servers (which you needed in-game experience to be whitelisted, rather than fill out an application) and most of the time, I've made it to I1.

What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP): I've been an OfC on Nomad, I've been an OVC (Overwatch Captain) on Complexity and I've managed to become an I1 in other servers that required in-game experience.

What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?: I'm very active, as stated before. 90% of the time you'll see me playing on the server.

Do you have a working microphone?: Yes.

Scenarios

You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?: I'd tell the I4 to calm down and remain cohesive. If the I4 continues to act non-cohesive and defunct, I'd order them to be amputated for insubordination and non-cohesive behaviors. If this continues happening, I'd consult with the other supervisor as to what to do next.

An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?: I'd tell the I3 to keep tac-channels clear and professional, we don't want non-cohesiveness amongst our ranks, and especially on radio channels where we need to be professional to communicate with others. If the i3 does not stop and continues to be non-cohesive. I'd mark them as a defunct unit and order them to be amputated.

During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?: I'd first take care of the incorrect charges by changing the time the arrested person stays in jail with the appropriate charges (if he even did anything wrong). Then I'd ask the I4 if he's new to the job and ask him if he'd like a guide/training. If he agrees I myself would take the time to teach him the basics and take him under my wing so he can go out there and be a proper Civil Protection unit.

You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?: I'd call the OfC to my location where I'd first call him out for his behavior and how it's unprofessional to lose his temper, and how we do not tolerate the deservicement of units for minor infractions. I'd then de-service him and demote him for breaking our rules.

You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?: As soon as I hear the beep, I tell the units to pull back away from the location and to double time it. The situation has now escalated into a Code-10 (IED Threat), I fall with my PT to a safe location. Once safe I inform other units of the incident and tell them to be vigilant and remain wary of a possible IED Hazard.

A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?: I inform my PT to lock down the area and search for the necrotic/necrotics. If nothing is found, I inform all available PTs on CP Radio about the containment breach, and tell them to go 10-50 in order to find the necrotic/necrotics to dispose of the threat to the civic and civil protection populace.

/neutral Look it looks like you have experience and support but, I played with you online and honestly the behavior you exhibited wasn’t that I would expect in someone that’s gonna have a OfC role.

You got into a argument over ooc because someone accused you of RDM is what it looks like (just from reading the back and forth in ooc I don’t know the full story) and as OfC you may get accused of a lot by minges, people who are angry, and people trying to get under your skin for whatever and the reaction you showed wasn’t the best.

During a JW, I told you in LOOC that you can’t buddy boost into the meta base window, and you did it anyway. With a role as OfC your going to be handling intel and what you do with that intel and if you act upon meta bases without that intel you will get punished for it and the rebels don’t get to lose their stuff. As an OfC you need to practically justify every step you take and be ready to cover yourself with either the rules, CCA policy, or what have you.
Here to elaborate on the two situations. Not trying to disprove anything, just here to argue my case and make things clear. Especially regarding the OOC part

For the OOC arguement part: I was kind of taken aback by the accusations yes, but that quickly turned into ragebaiting. In all honestly, I wasn't angry or upset about it as much as one might think. But I understand the confusion (Full story to that is that the person in OOC accused me of killing them during JW even though I haven't touched them once during JW at all.)

For the Meta base part: I admit, that was in all honesty a pretty dumb decision on my end. However: You simply told me in looc "That's a meta base" and didn't say anything about buddy boosting into it. I did it because I was under the impression that: During JW I can boost in through the window to search it because of the other OTA that was there with you offering to boost me up into the window. (which now I realize was kind of stupid, so, lesson learned for the future). I take full accountability for that and already told one of the DvL's I have seen mostly active (Connor/Tap-7) about the incident.

Note that I fully appreciate your criticism, and will take it to heart. But you've played with me online just once, and have seen me in action just once. (which was in one of my worst fumbles ever. But not sure if that's really true, after all I don't take note of people who I've played with on the server each day, you might have seen me in action more than just once. One way or the other: I appreciate the criticism, and hopefulyl I'll learn from the mistake I have made today)

He shows great activity, strong leadership qualities, and solid PvP skills. In addition, he has good RP abilities and knows how to create engaging roleplay scenarios when players start to get bored. He genuinely cares about others having fun and makes an effort to keep the experience enjoyable for everyone.

After reading this I am changing my neutral to a +support this response showed maturity and that you open to improvement and criticism. Which are qualities in a OfC I would hope for. I am also removing my neutral post.
