What rank are you applying for?: OfC
Questions
Why are you applying for this position?: To take on training of new recruits, and ensure standards are being met once fully inaugurated. Encourage teamwork & communication, often by directly organising units and leading by example. Encouragement of PT patrols, building checkpoints/hardpoints/structures, to maintain security and UU presence to discourage anti civil activity.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?:
I have extensive experience in leadership and Civil Protection
What prior experience do you have in leadership positions? (Doesn’t have to specifically be HL2RP):
Crow Network - Civil Protection Sectoral Commander
Apex Network - Server Staff Administrator/Event Lead
Project Retribution (Fallout RP) - Community Manager
Impulse - Lead Moderator & Union SqL to DvL
What kind of activity can we expect to see from you?: 3-5 days a week.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes
Scenarios
You’re in the Nexus and an i4 comes up screaming in your face and insulting you. What would you do in that situation?:
Investigate and re-educate. Shoot him in the face if it continues, after announcing defunct unit and deservicement. Depending on the unit/player's behaviour and speech, a combine ban may be issued.
An i3 is being non-cohesive on the radio, saying things like “idk lol” or “dude I just killed that citizen lmao”. How would you respond?:
I would get them out of public, question their behaviour, warn them and retrain them. Assign them to PT and/or have another unit monitor their behaviour, encourage correct communication procedures and help build their professional skills.
During a patrol an i4 arrests someone for the incorrect charges. They don't seem to know what they're doing very well. How would you correct them?:
I would provide the Civil Protection Handbook, go over what each charge means, how it applies, and what the correct charges should have been. Encourage them to ask for help if they are unsure. I would also encourage anyone in their PT to help show the unit the ropes.
You’re a DcO and an OfC loses his temper and deservices a unit for a minor infraction, which is against our rules. How would you punish the OfC?:
Question, re-educate and log the incident. Temporarily demote the unit if deemed redeemable, or fully demote with the possibility to reapply in the future.
You're leading a PT in RDC and hear a beep nearby followed by citizens shouting in code to each other. What do you order your PT to do and what are your next steps?:
I call out code 10 and order units to disperse/get out. If the threat de-escalates, detain and question the citizens speaking in code if possible.
A Necrotic outbreak is discovered by your PT and signs show it may already be out of containment of the area, what is your immediate response?: Call it in over the radio, request PT's and airwatch to sweep nearby areas.
