Each time I ambushed OTA in LPR, it was always due to their own mistake of not watching their back and not having any form of game sense.
First ambush was two OTA that were both looking forward, not watching their back. I killed the OWS first, leaving an APF alone, who proceeded to waste his ammo by shooting a wall. I then pushed up and killed him.
Second ambush was when OTA were doing a shadow raid on the motel, where I managed to kill two OTA (OWS and EOW), they ended up killing me and my partner in crime due to their numbers and the fact they used their heads this time around.
Third ambush was when OTA were returning from OZ, I gathered a group of rebels to ambush them in LPR, with an FN Fal, 2 MP7s and an USP. We managed to take them down but not without heavy losses (including me, FN Fal guy carried)
Fourth ambush was when OTA got shot in LPR, retreated to OZ and were setting up checkpoint while waiting for us to push. We decided to loop around the entire OZ, scattering them with a pipebomb and then picking them off. Not to mention they never once turned around or looked around the area to check if we're ambushing them.
I think the LPR is a good choice to have, Combat is finally fair and fun without having to camp the Nexus doors or camp in RB-1. It's also a new area for RP, due to how clamped it is and people will finally interact with each other in the Motel. I saw someone open up shop there as a CWU in the cafeteria. OTA and CCA just sometimes lack game-sense and think rushing in head-first/wasting your ammo trying to suppress someone is a good strategy. Especially when they're fighting rebels with game-sense, they'll die due to them not using any tactics or strategy. LPR will take time to adjust to, but you also need to work on your skills, and realize LPR is not friendly anymore, you need to stay on high alert each time you pass through. Ask Scanners to check the area or ask CCA to clear the area before deploying. Use your heads. Work smarter not harder.
