Quests for Factions

A system similar to how Batlefield 6 handles their Battle Royale gamemode.

Now this sounds outrageous for those who read "Batlefield 6" and "Battle Royale" but never played/saw these, let me explain why they could be really good.

In Battlefield 6 Battle Royale, you are dropped in alone or with a team and you are given a random set of objectives which the Squad Lead may choose to complete one in return for rewards such as cash, better weapons, exclusive weapon tunes, etc. Obviously we do not have access to most of these, but this could be solid reimagined on Astronet.

The ST Lead may establish a Stabilization Team with 4 more units in it. The ST Lead will have the option to select an objective from the list;

- Biolink Recovery - A biolink from a deserviced unit somewhere in the OZ / Sewers area that can be recovered by the ST and brought back for Sterilization Credits.
- Patrol Duty - Basically moving from point A to point B, if you played ANEURISM IV, this kept you alive.
- Purge Nest ( could be a custom nest that spawns in wtih a few more zombies / antlions than usual, but this one can be actually destroyed if enough damage is dealt.

This can easily be added to the other factions, rebels probably benefiting better as they could have a bit more variety, but so could Civil Protection

- Block inspection in progress ( Investigate possible disturbance )
- Patrols duty
- Workshift Oversight ( a bit more player dependent, may require an active workshift to happen, could be made optional to pop up only if a Workshift is in progress and the rewards could be a bit better. )
- BDD ( Body Disposal Duty ) - Escorting a Cremator throughout their duty.
etc.

Rebels could bring back several items in exchange for others at the NPC quest and such.

- Return 5 Circuit Boards for 20 Metal plates
- Sell 5 bottles of moonshine for Tokens ( If the BMD buy them for 300, you can sell them to the Quest guy for more, this is just an example )

and so on

Now for the Devs, I'd like to know how doable would this be from your standpoint, because this on paper sounds easy but Im assuming it's nowhere near as easy.

maybe rebels could interfere with the quest of other factions for rewards of their own

I like the concept but I admit I'm hesitant about some of these along with the possibility of some Supervisory ranks just pushing people to do these objectives instead of leaving them as optional things to do.

I mean this is something that can easily be controlled by instructing Supervisors to not force players to get those done; These could be personal progression and something to do. I can see the concern, but it can be ruled out if they are instructed to not treat them as a mandatory thing.

Idealy these quests would have a good incentive to do rather than a mechanic in the background that will easily be forgotten.
