General questions:
Why do you wish to apply for APF? I really like APF, especially the aspect of being a supportive role while also dealing heavy damage. The fact that you can suppress the enemy to let units push in is such a good utility to have in CTA and I love their appearance.
What do you think APF represents? Antibody Protection Force, What it represents to me is a Suppressive Asset that helps deliberate all known conflicts with the force of suppressing all fire coming towards the Asset and the other Units being fired upon.
Do you think you can bring anything new to the division? What I believe I could bring to the division is some role-play provided by some serious and complete professionalism but full attention to my role as a suppressive unit.
Deployment scenario: (please explain as detailed as you can what would you do as an APF unit in the following circumstance)
Map- i17
You are deployed as an ST lead alongside 4 other interlocked assets: 1 MACE 2 ECHOs equipped with AR2s and 1 ECHO with an MP7. You are displaced on an OZ sweep and begin approaching the doorway leading to OZ-2 when you realize a group of up to 7 rebels have established a foothold in OZ-2 and have created a kill zone within said transfer hallway. It is also reported that they have a confirmed sniper on top of one of the 2 warehouses. Your ST has been tasked with clearing out the sector with minimal losses, failure is non-negotiable. How will you proceed? (Keep in mind, you are leading the ST and have full control over your interlocked assets)
Upon identifying that OZ-2 is occupied by an estimated seven rebel elements with an established kill zone in the transfer hallway and a confirmed sniper positioned on one of the adjacent warehouses, I would immediately halt the ST’s advance and transition into a containment posture. A direct push under these conditions would risk unnecessary losses and compromise the operation. My first priority would be to stabilize the situation and deny the enemy initiative. The MACE would be positioned to the rear, covering shadow and preventing any flanking attempt or rearward infiltration. The two AR2-equipped ECHOs would be split and hard-stacked on opposing sides of the OZ-2 entrance, maintaining cover while establishing overlapping fields of fire. The MP7 ECHO would remain slightly offset and mobile, designated as a reactionary element capable of reinforcing either side as required. With the formation secured, attention would shift to the confirmed sniper threat. One AR2 ECHO would be tasked with maintaining overwatch on both warehouse rooftops. Controlled AR2 fire would be applied to likely sniper positions to suppress and deny observation. The objective is to either force the sniper to disengage or reveal their position for focused neutralization. No breach would occur until the sniper’s ability to influence the hallway is significantly reduced. Once overwatch is controlled, I would initiate kill zone disruption. Both AR2 ECHOs would conduct alternating suppression into the OZ-2 transfer hallway, targeting known cover points and choke angles to break the rebels firing discipline. This pressure is intended to force displacement, degrade coordination, and reduce the effectiveness of their prepared positions. The MP7 ECHO would advance incrementally during this phase, probing for reactions and exploiting any visible gaps without committing to a full push. When hostile return fire is sufficiently diminished, the MACE would advance to initiate a deliberate breach. It’s role would be to absorb initial contact and trigger any remaining ambush elements. Immediately following, the AR2 ECHOs would push in on separate lanes, establishing overlapping fields of fire down the hallway. The MP7 ECHO would remain mobile, reinforcing points of resistance and engaging any hostiles attempting to withdraw or flank. After securing the transfer hallway, the ST would continue clearing OZ-2 in a controlled, sector-by-sector manner. Asset spacing, cross-coverage, and communication would be maintained throughout to prevent re-establishment of enemy positions. Once resistance is neutralized, overwatch is re-established and the sector consolidated in preparation for follow-on tasks. This approach prioritizes control, suppression, and methodical advancement, ensuring the enemy’s advantages are systematically removed while maintaining ST cohesion and minimizing losses.
Do you understand that any misconduct within the division can lead to your removal? Completely understandable and I understand entirely.
